Jayaram Subramaniyam (Malayalam: ജയറാം), commonly known as Jayaram, is an Indian film actor in Malayalam and Tamil language films. He is also a mimicry artist. He is quite widely appreciated for his easiness in handling comedy. There was some criticism towards him being typecast in comic roles in family melodramas. Jayaram despite the criticism has managed to hold on to the top list of Malayalam film actors. He acted in many commercially successful comedy entertainers.
